The Steigerwald with its mild melancholy brings the
nature-loving traveler in the bevy.
Between breakfast, midday, and coffee-breaks the cold-blood-team
pulls you from upper-Franconia to middle-Franconia and over
sub-Franconia again back to upper-Franconia.

About 9:00 o'clock the trip starts from Hohn am Berg. The
first stage goes passing Aschbach and Heuchelheim to Fürstenforst.
You linger shortly with a ribald white-sausage-breakfast,
than the trip goes on newly strengthened along the old Franconian-high-street
further to the Three-Franconian-stone.
After a short rest with communal drink you go further passing
Sixtenberg - Wasserberndorf - Seramsmühle Hohn am Berg
for the lunch break. Here we invite you to have a Franconian
trout-meal.
About 14:00 o'clock we continue the trip. Passing Holzberndorf
- Burggrub - Ilmenau you reach Großbirkach. A coffee-break
is possible here.
The remaining route leads over Füttersee, passsing the
emperor-oak to Wasserberndorf - Hutzelmühle and passing
Holzberndorf back to Hohn am Berg (arrival approximately 17:00
o'clock).
